Dr. Stein [04 Jun 2006|03:35am]

I clicked on the "Dr. Stein" link in the interests in this community's userinfo, and a community called "The SOUL EATER Community" also made him an interest. Other interests that they listed include "dark demon blade" and "death city."

Clearly this means something.

I went to Morah Racheli's wedding today. There was an unbelievable number of teachers there. First of all, there were so many Moriah teachers- Morah Aliza, Morah Kahana, Morah Gila and husband1, Mrs. Schwartz2 and husband, Morah Nomi, Morah Odelia (and family), and a lot more than I don't actually know their names. And the Frisch teachers, omg- both Zauderers, Wiener and husband, Weiss3, Siev4, and again, a lot more that I either don't remember or don't know their names.

Also, a former Canadian supreme court justice went up to the chuppa for no apparent reason5.

1- not to say that the others didn't have their husbands, I just didn't see them
2- Mrs. Schwartz! the one who said a dog was a adjective!
3- Ms.
4- she's new, you oldies don't know her
5- by "no apparent reason" clearly, I mean, I wanted to poke him endlessly and tell him to somehow get me a nomination to become an American justice, because clearly he had the power to do that, but because attacking the clippled 90-year-old man wasn't so much an option, I found no use for him, giving his presence no apparent reason. Don't you just love what goes on in my head? Gosh, I should write a book.

You know what I thought about while in an elevator today?

"Car call cancel! Car call cancel! ... It worked!"

Wow, it was so strange to go back there. The freshmen have never looked so tiny.

I realized how happy I am to be out of there. I mean, i ADORED Frisch at the time and even cried when it ended, but i wouldnt want to go back to those days. Rutgers is so much better. Well, except for the fact that my old friends arent there. If all my best friends were at Rutgers too, life would be perfect. Oh well... I guess it's good to branch out, anyway.

It made me so happy to see Mrs. Weisholtz. We talked for a really long time. She's the best. And I had fun seeing Mrs. Korn- she gave me a huge hug, and I told her about Italy. And Mr. Greenfield got excited to see me, because he remembered that I got a 5 on the calc AP. That man is teh cool.

As an employee of Frisch, I feel obligated to post here [07 Jul 2005|11:23pm]

I'm working in Frisch for the summer, and it's pretty boring but fun. We just finished the July mailing, and today I assigned locker and gym lockers, and did random things with files.

FYI, next year Frisch students have off from ever yom kippur straight through simchas torah! It's ridiculously unfair. I'm going to be going out of my mind making up college classes while Frisch students can celebrate having all the holidays smack dab in the middle of the week. That's why yeshivas are so awesome.

Mazel tov underclassmen, who've finished finals, and seniors, who've graduated. Next year is going to kick butt.

What are everyone's summer plans? (Let's pretend this is a real community, so even though I know most of you, post anyway.)

Girls Softball [11 Apr 2005|10:45pm]

[ mood | determined ]

People in Frisch go crazy for boys' hockey games and they just love the basketball games... but there is a serious injustice here, for no one ever acknowledges softball.

I'm not even on the team, so it's not like I'm promoting myself. Rather, tonight I went to a girls' softball game vs. maayanot with my co-supporters Rivky and Davidberman, and we just had a blast. Rivky and I had made signs that said things like "GOOD EYE!" "COUGARS RUN TOGETHER," "AVIVA IS MY HERO," and "SHIRA, WILL YOU MARRY ME?" We cheered like there was no tomorrow, and of course due to our cheers, Frisch won.

We were the only fans at the game, not counting a few parents. Now that is just sad. Everyone get off your behinds and go to the next girls' softball game. Do it for Shira!

Happy Purim [25 Mar 2005|02:17pm]

susievader
Last night at Frisch's Purim party, Zahava and I were trying to figure out the best way to hug the building (from the inside, the staircase area). It's really tough, when the building clearly doesnt want to hug you back.

Only 18 school days left... my goodness, I'm going to miss that place.

Here's a summary of Frisch: (to continue these entries)
It doesn't really count.
You'll be happy at any college you go to.
High school all becomes a cloud of jumbled memories.
As long as you don't fail out, don't care.

girls!
boysenberries!
wow, my forehead itches.
SOME FRISCH RELATED THINGS:
history essays suck a big hairy thing. esecially when youve put them off for over a month and they come back to bite you in the butt.
math tests generally tend towards the suckage as well. ew. math is ("literally!") vomit on a stick.
hebrew tests? actually not so bad, just pains in the "nose," in the words of my dear former chemistry teacher, who we drove clinically insane and was forced to flee to a different country in the hopes that the chem-com girls wouldnt leer at him and ask "mr cohen... do YOU think i'm *giggle* voluptuous?"
in summation?
read this entry. read it again. note my lack of brain cells. note what high school does to you. note what being in high school- worse, doing work for high school- does to you when you are already IN FREAKING COLLEGE, D'ARVIT!

this was completely pointless, perhaps, but very useful, as it took five precious minutes away from this history essay of verbose gottleib DOOM.

in summation: (and fo shiz this time)
regina spektor rocks my socks off. and what are you doing reading this? don't you have some homeowrk that needs doing?

I wanted to welcome all of you to the new Frisch community!

Right now, I am sitting in AP Comp Sci class. If anyone reading this is an underclassman, TAKE THIS CLASS! It is a complete joke of an AP. Of course, it doesn't look as good as AP Bio or Chem, but it's so worth it to be able to have such a joke class.

He just called on me out of the blue, and I completely screwed up the answer. But I just laughed. It's all a joke in senior year, anyway, so we can all relax no matter what classes we are taking. So, underclassmen, be ready, because senior year is the best year of your life!

Anyway, welcome to the community. Post a lot, because we want this to be an active community!
